QUICK BUSINESS INFUSION FACILITY
HolaLink offers this type of loan to business owners for quick replenishment of business stock.
Currently the majority of our clients in this category are women especially those in the textile business. They have a stream of customers for their merchandise and therefore, they purchase clothes in bulk from wholesale markets once a month.
They need immediate cash infusion to enable them make wholesale purchases monthly. The lending in this category includes: HolaLink availing a once in a month cash infusion repayable to HolaLink on a monthly basis, extending the facility as needed while the interest is paid up every month.
EMERGENCY/SHORT TERM
The duration of a short term/emergency loan package is usually only two weeks.
Most borrowers of this loan tend to use it for purchasing vehicles as a short term arrangement while negotiating a cheaper, longer term loan.
HolaLink may at the company's discretion, assist the client within a week of borrowing from HolaLink, in negotiating a cheaper longer term loan from another lending company with lower interest rates. The car log book is the collateral for the loan. HolaLink takes a short term insurance on the loan, whose premium is paid by the client.
MEDIUM-TERM LOANS
These loans are given out for a maximum duration of 12 months.
They tend to be more secure as they involve borrowers with good credit, but who simply want quick loans that can be processed way faster than the banks in Kenya would do.
The Banks in Kenya are known to take months before approving loans and they are also not keen on giving small loans.
